First Supernatural Con of 2024 comes to Burbank!

This year the powers that be put a Supernatural convention during my spring break – yay! That meant I was able to travel to California, spend some time with my daughter in the Bay area, then take a short flight to Burbank for the con.  The hotel is one of my all time favorite con hotels, with a lovely pool and a spacious outdoor dining restaurant right there between the con area and the hotel itself. It was the perfect place to gather and have a drink and a bite in between panels and events, which was great because I got to reconnect with some friends I haven’t seen in far too long.

I also met alot of wonderful new people and fans of Supernatural – and of The Boys, including this mini Homelander who was adorable!

Shout out to everyone who came to say hi in the vendor room and picked up a copy of one of the books with chapters by the Supernatural actors and fans, Family Don’t End With Blood and There’ll Be  Peace When You Are Done – or everyone who just stopped by to tell me they’d already read them and enjoyed them!  We were also able to bring the new book on ‘The Boys’ to this con – let me know what you think if you picked one of those up. It should catch you up and get you ready for Season 4 in a few months – can’t wait!

There was a substantial break in between the last convention of 2023 back in December and this one in mid March – so everyone was extra happy to be reunited, both fans and cast. And we were treated to some guests we hadn’t seen in far longer than that!

I inevitably miss a few people thanks to working in the vendor room, but I managed to catch quite a few this time – It was wonderful to have Lisa Berry back at a con. She talked about how she was already a passionate Supernatural fan when she was cast on the show, and then finding out there were so many other passionate fans! She enjoyed fans’ complicated canon questions because she is a fan herself.

Lisa: In my incarnation of Billie, she was always right next to Death.

Her character was continually frustrated with Sam and Dean.

Lisa: Billie’s whole thing with the Winchesters is that they always kept coming back to life. Now fangirl Lisa, she was like YES!

Favorite line?

Lisa: Hey.

It’s true, she could give Billie one word to say and it would come out memorable. She said that sometimes she was flown into Vancouver just to turn around to the camera and say ‘hey’!

One of her favorite scenes was the one in the library with Dean, with all the books.

Lisa: Jensen was so generous in that scene – everyone there is, so it’s safe to play.

A fan stepped up to the mic and shared that she had an AKF tattoo.

Lisa: That’s awesome – and yes please do (always keep fighting)!

It was also wonderful to have Matt Cohen back at conventions. I came into the ballroom a little late and Matt was standing in front of the stage and when I walked up the center aisle, he swept me into a hug to say it was good to see me – not a bad way to start the day! He made his way around the entire ballroom to greet everyone he possibly could. It was early so it wasn’t all that crowded, but the people who were there were treated to a great panel.

It does, however, mean that I hardly got any photos of Matt as he walked around.

Matt: There’s no better place to be in terms of diversity and acceptance than the SPNFamily.

He also did an impromptu push up contest with a fan…

Apropos of I’m not sure what, Matt said he’d definitely do a Supernatural spinoff with John Winchester. Also, his son Macklin was at the con – he is somehow 8 already!

Matt also said that he just got the rights to the female-led film he made called Mama Bear – it’s amazing if you haven’t seen it yet.

Matt wrote one of my favorite chapters in Family Don’t End With Blood – I love how much he loves fandom, and especially Supernatural fandom. If you haven’t read it, check it out!

Matt: Let people be weird, weird is awesome.

He’s right.

Matt: And let people screw up. We all do.

Right again.

A fan asked about acting – it’s a tough time in the industry for all actors, so it was a serious question.

Matt: You have to be passionate about doing this, not go for famous. Part of your life feeling hard makes other things feel good.

He took the time to answer a lucky fan’s question while also taking a selfie of himself answering the question, which resulted in these priceless photos.

You’re welcome.

And we got a big finish!

(Though I always want to run up there like a mama bear myself and say don’t hurt yourself!)

Check out Matt’s podcast with his little brother, and also his inspiring Instagram daily posts.

I caught a little of Samantha Smith’s panel before I had to run back to the vendor room – she always has the best outfits!

Samantha apparently wants chickens.

Sam: But not ducks. They’re cute…but they’re murderers…

Samantha said she started out doing a lot of comedic roles, and would like to do more comedy.

I was able to watch a little of the Rich and Rob panel later that day, which is inevitably both informative and hilarious.

The Rich and Rob show!

Richard loved the scene of him fighting him that he also directed.

Rich: Challenging but so cool.

He also talked about that scene he did with Jensen where the Trickster was Dr. Sexy, saying that the background extras were so good at freezing that they didn’t even need VFX!

Rob talked about his love of music (which we’re all grateful for)

Rob: When I was 12, my mom bought me a guitar. I’ve always loved music – you start with your own passion.

He also gave his band credit for helping him get even better.

Rob: I’m such a better musician playing with Louden Swain all these years.

Rob greeted the ladies panel with so much joy – his smile warms my heart.

The ladies (Kim, Briana, Lisa, Felicia and Samantha) had lots of love for the fandom.

Kim: This fandom is awesome because you get things done. Like supporting having women guests at cons.

They also talked about loving what you do.

Felicia: If you’re just trying to sell yourself and not doing what feeds your soul, that doesn’t work.

A fan asked Kim who would the boys of the Suite Life be as the Winchesters?

Kim: Obviously Dylan is Dean and Cole is Sam. I’m still Jody.

A fan told Lisa Berry how much they appreciate that she uses they/them pronouns for Billie on the show, which she was glad to hear.

All the ladies talked about finding their own power.

Sam Smith: I’m enjoying finding my power and using it.

Including the great experience of learning to use power tools apparently.

Felicia talked about turning 40 and feeling invisible – and then realizing that means that you can do what you want!

Briana talked about the joys of loving and being loved by a nine year old (the age her daughter Valentina is now).

She said her character Donna did a lot of healing on the show.

Briana: If you’re not healed, you’ll pass that on to your kids. I think Donna did a lot of healing.

How would Supernatural be different if both parents had died?

Sam Smith: This question is not for me!

Kim expressed some heartfelt wishes for Sam and Dean.

Kim: I wish Sam and Dean had someone to lean on as they took care of each other, because I love them.

Awwww.

Lisa let us know that she’s about to pitch a new project that she wrote with a friend.

One of the best answers was when a fan asked what they’d do if they did a bodyswap with a man. They all considered the obvious answer, but then gave some real ones.

Walk to the parking lot at night with confidence.

Earn a dollar on a dollar.

Not apologize!

Well said, ladies.

Kim shared some lovely memories of the Supernatural cast and her daughter Taby, who has recently become a fan of Supernatural (though not of her mom’s character because of course).  One time Misha took the phone and answered her Castiel questions himself, and one time she disappeared with Jared (I think at Mark Sheppard’s wedding), who was helping her look for mermaids.

Seriously. Best. Cast. Ever.

Misha’s panel on Saturday started off with him pretending to manscape Rob, for what reason I cannot at all recall.

Rob is such a good sport always lol.

Misha talked about the one man show he was doing that night.

Misha: I thought, wouldn’t it be nice if I didn’t have to censor myself? That’s the origin of the special panel tonight.

Which was thus very popular indeed.

Misha told the hilariously creepy story he’d posted online, of an AI robot recognizing him – and then flirting with him. And totally freaking him out.

Misha: She recognized me!

He gave a few somewhat serious answers too. About acting and the characters he’s played:

Misha: I’ve always been interested in how we become monsters.

Misha is a great story teller and I always enjoy the ones he shares at panels. This time he shared the time he rented a house in Vancouver that was supposed to be big enough that he and Jensen and Jared and Clif could all comfortably stay there…

Misha: We got there and… it was not. We had to stack vertically…

There are a lot of stories from that visit, which was apparently complete chaos, including renting gay porn on the house’s TV and lots of other interesting tidbits. Oh to be a fly on the wall…

Misha also told the infamous Vancouver sulphur pile story – that time he and Jared went playing on one of the giant yellow sulphur piles that many of us have seen in Vancouver. Which was apparently not allowed.

Misha: Oops.

(There is hilarious footage of these two being naughty together out there if you haven’t had the privilege of seeing it yet. Mishalecki are a true chaos duo, honestly.)

Misha’s panels are always a little chaotic anyway. The prompt of this panel was: Cas at Ikea. Do with that what you will.

We got some set stories in this panel too, like the time Cas had to eat all that hamburger (which wasn’t actually hamburger but was something equally disgusting) and Misha didn’t use the spit bucket provided. As in, he ate it. All.

Misha: Mistakes were made.

He also talked about Castiel’s dramatic entrance, and how he practically had his hair lit on fire to make all those awesome looking sparks.

Misha: Castiel’s very serious demeanor in the first scene is partly me trying not to be terrified – or catch on fire!

Misha writes about that somewhat terrifying experience in his chapter in Fan Phenomena Supernatural – and he writes about the Supernatural fandom and what it means to all of us in his chapter in Family Don’t End With Blood (that book also benefits his charitable organization, Random Acts!) There are links below if you’d like to read more.

When the band came out at the end of the panel, Misha turned to Rob and quipped: Do you know a good therapist?

I guess he needed one after that chaotic panel!

Misha was a good friend and helped Richard rep his new El Mar Margaritas brand – you can order it online or buy it if you’re in LA.

On Saturday we also had a Jim Beaver panel – someone else I’ve missed at cons!

Jim: Hello idjits!

Jim talked about playing a guy named Bob Singer on both Supernatural and The Boys, which is of course courtesy of Eric Kripke both times (and to the dismay probably of the real Bob Singer lol).  You can read lots more about that in Jim’s exclusive interview in the new book Supes Ain’t Always Heroes: Inside the Complex Characters and Twisted Psychology of The Boys. Links on the home page here or at the end of this article – Jensen has a fascinating exclusive interview in the book all about Soldier Boy too.

I had given Jim his contributor copy of the book a while ago, and was happy to hear he’d really enjoyed reading Jensen’s interview chapter!

Jim: Being Bob Singer isn’t identity theft – it’s a gift! (courtesy of Eric Kripke)

The difference between being on Supernatural and on The Boys?

Jim: If you die on Supernatural, you can come back.

(But he’s still alive on The Boys so far, so…. Fingers crossed!)

Jim also had some great set stories, like that time he and Jensen were filming in the freezing cold Vancouver rain, with the crew all bundled up in parkas, and the two of them were in tee shirts pretending it was spring time.

He also talked about the pranks the boys pulled on him from time to time.

Jim: Any time Bobby is in a bed, Jared is at the end of the bed twisting my toes!

(Jared and Jensen have talked many times about how Jim never ever breaks though!)

Favorite moment on the show?

Jim: It does involve kissing… and not Mark Sheppard!

After those great panels, it was time to go to the awesome outdoor bar/restaurant right in the hotel to have drinks with the bestie.

It was so wonderful to spend lots of time with Alana King, who I miss whenever we don’t get to hang out together.

There were SO many good friends I got to catch up with at this con (though most of them weren’t as amenable to me taking pics of them for the blog…)  Look at this intimidating trio…

We watched people line up for Misha’s one man show – and heard from our friends who attended that it was a) very dirty and b) a lot of fun. So, success I guess!

And then it was Saturday Night Special time! Louden Swain kicked ass as always.

Kim Rhodes and Briana Buckmaster were both amazing – such natural performers and they really have turned into rockstars over the course of doing the SNS (and many more tours for Briana).

Jason Manns joined Rob and Billy for the traditional fan singalong on the chorus of Hallelujah, and their beautiful harmonies throughout. I never fail to be moved by how that sounds, and how pleased the guys are that we’re singing it with them.

And then we got a special treat for this con – Lisa Berry doing some Tina Turner and setting the place on fire!

Lisa sings Proud Mary!

Richard Speight, Jr. was saving his voice for his album release concert at the Whisky A Go Go, but he did join the band on bass.

The most emotional part of the evening happened when Mark Sheppard took the stage to play drums for a few songs. He survived multiple very serious heart attacks a short time ago, so having him back with his SPNFamily and onstage with the band was very moving – for him and for us.

He got all the love from the audience, holding his hand over his heart with a big smile in acknowledgement.

So glad you’re back, Mark!

Louden Swain finished up with ‘Rock Song’, ‘This Is How’ and ‘Amazing’ – what a great night!

Take a bow, boys!

And then it was Sunday.

Usually this is where I say, “J2 day”, but Jared wasn’t at this con, so it was a different ‘J2’ to start off the gold panel – Jensen and Jeffrey Dean Morgan!

Jensen: I’m here with my papa.

JDM: How he’s grown…

Jeff reminisced about his first convention, in Vegas way back in 2015. That was the time Jensen turned into a bona fide rockstar right in front of our astonished eyes at the SNS. Jeff requested ‘Sister Christian’ and Jensen performed it, and honestly I’ve never been the same since.

Anyway, it apparently made a big impression on Jeff too.

JDM: I was there the first time you sang. Sister Christian. You were terrified.

Jensen: It’s terrifying!

(Less so now that he’s got his own band and has done his own show though – and will soon be doing another).

Jensen let us know (in vague terms, but still) that he’s got something in the works as far as us seeing him in something soon on our screens too.

Jensen: Work is on the way…

Though Jeff said that they would love to have Jensen on The Walking Dead too.

JDM: It’s not a big ask…

Someone asked the odd question of what has made them cry recently?

JDM: Seeing Jensen at 6 am…

Somehow I doubt that he didn’t look pretty good even sleep rumpled though. Not like most of us!

Jeff got to talk about his kids a bit, saying that the other day he heard George swear “summon a bitch!”  Seems oddly Supernatural somehow.

Also Supernatural related, Gus’ first concert was Metallica!

Jensen told some kid stories too, including being in the car with JJ and putting on ‘Enter Sandman’ and cranking it up, much to JJ’s lack of enthusiasm.

JJ: Daddy, are they talking about bad dreams?

Jensen: Yeah! And the monster under your bed, and in your closet…

Daddy Jensen and classic rock story

Jensen talked a bit about being anxious in some situations. He talks about that in his chapter in Family Don’t End With Blood  too, and how the support of the fandom helped him be less anxious.

Talk about anxious – he said his first scene in The Boys (where he’s wearing nothing but an strategically placed sock in front of his new coworkers) was one of those times. Understandably.

Jokes about “performance anxiety” were a running gag during the panel.

Jensen also had some thoughts about hanging onto anger versus letting it go.

Jensen: If you’re hanging onto anger at someone, they still have control over you.

Someone asked about guilty pleasures and Jeff fessed up to Van Der Pump Rules lol.

Jensen also told a few stories, including the time he and his buddies had a fireworks war in a field….which totally sounds like a Dean Winchester thing to do.

Jensen told a great nostalgic story about the early days of Supernatural when he and Jared would drive up to Vancouver together, bonding along the way.

Jensen: He would hop in his truck and I’d hop in mine and we would take off, a week before filming started. And we’d drive all the way up, take the 5.

JDM: You’d follow each other?

Jensen: We had walkie talkies! We’d be cruising along, and what a great way to bond. It’d be ‘I could go for a little beef jerky, you in?’  Some sunflower seeds, just road trip necessities. And we did that probably five years in a row, we’d drive up and then at the end of the season, we’d drive back.

Jared and Jensen road tripping to Van together

It made me miss Jared even more at the con but also warmed my heart that he was “there” in spirit.

Great “dad and son” panel, Jeff and Jensen are good friends and clearly enjoy a chance to tell some stories – they are both amazing story tellers!

Also, flippies!

We also got a Ruth Connell panel on Sunday. I got a chance to chat with her a bit before that and to congratulate her on the birth of her daughter with daddy Rob Benedict. So happy for them both!  If you’ve read the chapter that Ruth wrote in Family Don’t End With Blood, you know what a thoughtful and sensitive person she is, and I know she’ll be an amazing mum.

Ruth gave a shout out to all the teachers in the audience – well deserved since so many who teach have been hit so hard by the constant illness everywhere.

She also talked about acting, which she’s passionate about.

Ruth: I’m such a geek for my craft, and I love it.

In fact, she had already crafted a backstory for Rowena before the writers did so.

Ruth: I had already crafted a backstory for her – and then the writers wrote it!

Good instincts. And I love how much she loves her character.

Ruth: I love how Rowena has a different relationship with Dean, Sam and Cas. She’s a little scared of Dean. She has empathy and a trauma bond with Sam. Cas, she’d like to deconstruct him!

She reminisced about her first time speaking onscreen on Supernatural.

Ruth: I thought, I’ve gotta go balls to the wall. Afterwards, the crew was happy and I felt like I could belong.

Awwww.

We also got a Mark Sheppard panel. I was still feeling emotional about the fact that he had multiple heart attacks and almost died just a few months ago, and I think most everyone else was too – including Mark himself. He was still his snarky self, but he also got serious multiple times about the show and the fandom.

Mark: The biggest lesson from working on shows like Supernatural is lessons on how to be a human being.

Luckily he’s doing well, he reassured us.

Mark: My cardiologist says my heart is healthier now than decades ago. I’m so lucky, with an extraordinary recovery, and so grateful.

He too looks back fondly on his character and his time on Supernatural.

Mark: The idea of playing Crowley was always fun for me. The writers were always writing interesting things for me to do.

Mark genuinely loves and appreciates the SPNFamily. His chapter in Family Don’t End With Blood is all about how special the fandom is, and how he relates to being a fan himself. I am touched that every time he sees me in the audience, he comes over and references the books.

Mark: What’s special about this SPNFamily is not how you feel about us, but how you take care of each other.

He looked at me and nodded.

Mark: You’ve been here a long time, you know what I mean.

Me: I do.

That’s what all my books are about, as well as how all the actors feel about the show, each other, and the fans.

Mark: Being on Supernatural changed my life for the better.

Same, Mark. Same.

The woman sitting in front of me got very emotional near the end of Mark’s panel, and Mark finished it up just standing next to her and quietly holding her hand. Which made ME very emotional.

Mark: Always reach out a hand to anyone who needs it.

Well, that really is what it’s all about, isn’t it? So SO glad you’re still here with us, Mark.

We had a little Louden Swain interlude, and then it was time for Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s panel.

JDM: I went to my first (Supernatural) convention in Vegas and was like instantly addicted. Nothing better for my ego!

He got some serious questions and did his best to answer them, which is sort of a minefield when the questions are about John Winchester. Could John have killed Sam?

JDM: If he thought it would save his family and the world. He always tried to do the right thing, but fucked up a lot.

I thought that was a pretty good answer. Jeff clearly loved his character and has struggled sometimes with how John was portrayed in later episodes (that he wasn’t in) and how fandom interprets John’s “A+ parenting”.

JDM: When I did my first con, I didn’t know people hated John Winchester! He became something after I left that wasn’t how I created him.

He also talked about working with Jared and Jensen, and becoming lifelong friends with them.

JDM: I’ve known Jensen and Jared for years, and they’re still very much in my life – and I’ll have them forever.

Awwwwww.

Favorite prop that he would have wanted to keep?

JDM: Lucille. But if I’d known how cool it would be, the Colt too.

He joked that people ask him why he keeps the beard, and the audience immediately interrupted.

Everyone: It’s hot!

JDM: Because it’s hot!

That became the running joke of the panel.

He was also asked about his favorite characters to play.

JDM: I like characters who have damage. I, Jeff, have damage. OMG did I just say “I Jeff”??

He said that he really didn’t want his character Denny to die on Gray’s Anatomy. Also, apparently there were some awkward times on that show.

JDM: On Gray’s, I never left that bed. People would forget I was there and go to lunch!

Lol

Jeff also reminisced about making the pilot of Supernatural.

JDM: I remember being told that I had sons that were almost my age when we did the pilot. I was like, how? Oh, because flashbacks.

(Of course that didn’t stop them from just having Jeff portray present day John with his two grown sons either!)

JDM: I don’t know why they brought me back to play John. I’m close in age especially to Jensen.

(But I for one am glad they did! And I’m sure Jeff is too – if he hadn’t met Jensen, he wouldn’t have been introduced to his wife Hilarie.)

Thankfully, you can always come back on SPN.

JDM: Jensen called me first about coming back for the 300th episode. When I died on Supernatural, I was like, see you again!

Like so many other people who have worked on the show, Jeff had some lovely things to say about Jared and Jensen.

JDM: There’s something very special about Supernatural, and it starts with those two boys.

The audience cheered, and then he added…

JDM: And I think it’ll be back.

Me: Yes please!!!!

Instead of a Jared and Jensen panel like we’re used to, we got a Jensen and Misha panel on Sunday afternoon – Misha went along with the customary leap onstage with Jensen and Rob.

Jensen and Misha and Rob leap onstage

Misha to Jensen: We haven’t seen each other in a long time.

Jensen: We haven’t??

Also Jensen, laughing: Annnnnd we’re off!

Jensen to Misha: Have a seat.

Misha: I’m having flashbacks to me directing you and Jared on set…

(And probably some of those pies in the face…)

Misha told a story about being poked by a broom handle.

Jensen: That wasn’t a broom handle…

And so they were off, Jensen was right!

Jensen: We had a lot of fun. Once a guest star was like, who ARE you guys??

Misha and Jensen both cracked up. I love how everyone enjoys reminiscing about the show even after going on four years off the air.

They answered some show questions, including one about why Michael Dean fought Dark Kaia without his jacket on.

Jensen: Strictly for mobility purposes.

(It didn’t hurt that he looked really good doing it too – they didn’t take their jackets off nearly enough in that show!)

Misha answered a question about how angels fight.

Misha: Angels finger each other…

Jensen: Rim shot!

(Alas there was no Norton to comply)

Jensen told a hilarious story about all the times the crew surprised someone by taking off most of their clothes while filming lol.

Jensen: There they were, stripped down to their undies.

Misha: The B Camera crew were always getting naked!

Jensen: And I didn’t break, because it wasn’t something I hadn’t seen before.  I was like oh, there’s all of those naked people, and I just kept moving on. One time – I won’t say his name – but our camera operator, there was a shot in this house and we’re with this guy and say we’ve gotta see the basement, and you open up a door and the shot was down the stairs looking back up at us. And this poor guest star opens the door to the basement and there’s our camera operator once again in nothing but his underwear, and he has found a ball gag….

OMG

Jensen and a guest star get pranked by naked crew

Someone asked about things they struggled with on the show, and Jensen said Soulless Sam.

Jensen: I didn’t feel like I could be Dean without Jared there as my counterpart. I didn’t like it because I didn’t have my brother anymore.

Awwwww.

Jensen talked about the early days of the show.

Jensen: Jared, Misha and I picked our heads up one day and said oh, people are watching this show!

There were other funny moments too. I don’t know why, but Jensen demonstrated his wonky eye thing that he can do – I snapped a photo and then immediately looked away because it kinda freaks me out.

Side note: One time, back in the early days of the cons, Kathy and I were in the green room chatting with Jared and some friends when suddenly Jensen snuck up behind us. When he said ‘hey Lynn’ I turned around – only to find him right in my face doing that wonky eye thing!  I actually screamed out loud, which thoroughly amused him and Jared, and he walked away entirely pleased with himself.

I am still traumatized, obviously.

Supernatural drinking game?

Misha and Jensen: Every time Dean says Sam or Sam says Dean!

Just imagine it…

That’s alot of drinking…

Somehow Misha got talking about the wonky thing that he did on Nip/Tuck – if you haven’t seen it, feel free to google it. Let’s just say his character could do some rather acrobatic self pleasuring. Misha said he got the part because he was just that flexible, and did a little demonstration of his flexibility (G rated).

Misha: That’s as close as I can…come…

Jensen: Not touching that…

Lol

Jensen acted out what Dean and Cas would do if they happened upon Jensen and flexible Misha…

If Dean and Cas walked past flexible Misha…

What did they like most about the show and their characters?

Misha: The characters in Supernatural are always trying to do the right thing, and I take inspiration from that.

So do we, Misha, so do we.

Jensen agreed on what he valued.

Jensen: Their loyalty and willingness not to give up and to fight for the people who can’t fight for themselves.

That’s what Jensen talked about in his chapter in There’ll Be Peace When You Are Done – what his character meant to him and what he values about Dean Winchester and always will.

Jensen and Misha also talked about a Supernatural reboot – with these smiles on their faces!

The panel ended with a lovely last question fan who I had met at the vendor table when she bought a copy of Family Don’t End With Blood, so I was so happy she got a chance to go onstage and ask a question.

Somehow that devolved into Misha and Jensen ribbing each other about how they’d play each other’s characters.

Misha: I’d play Dean more stereotypically masculine…a deeper voice…

Jensen: I’d play Castiel with personality…

Jensen pulled Misha into the Last Question song chaos with Rob.

And then, Jensen and Misha thanked the fans and ended the panel with a hug.

I spent a lovely Sunday evening relaxing with friends around the pool, and even had time for a leisurely brunch with more friends at the same outdoor bar/restaurant before having to catch my red eye flight back home the next day.

Yum!

And then fly all night and … go straight to work. Ah well, spring break has to come to an end – but this was a great way to spend it!

Stay tuned for more posts here in 2024, lots going on and I’m happy to be back writing about it all – Walker recap and reviews, lots of convention recaps, and all the fun at the upcoming Radio Company concert in Austin this summer.  (And perhaps more of whatever Jensen alluded to coming up later this year…)
